The first vintage ever, the 2024 Sex Rose is made from 100% Pinot Noir and native fermented, the grapes coming mostly from the Ancient Lakes area. Fruity cherry and strawberry vanilla ride along a silky and surprisingly complex midpalate of light-bodied weight and minerality, a linear expression inspired by Sancerre that's neither round nor sweet. Guava and seashells come mostly to mind. Drink now and for the next 3-5 years.

This pale apricot-colored rosé has aromas of wild flowers, strawberries, watermelons and sea shells. It's medium-bodied, cool, delicate and refreshing, with a silky texture. 100% pinot noir from Ancient Lakes. Delicious now. Screw cap.

The 2024 SEX, a Pinot Noir Rosé, is spicy with a burst of crushed strawberries and mint. It coasts across the palate with soft textures while displaying a pretty inner sweetness and ripe floral-laced orchard fruits. This finishes crisp and squeaky clean with a subtle mineral tinge.
Whether it’s playful and fun or savory and serious, most rosé today is not your grandmother’s White Zinfandel, though that category remains strong. Pink wine has recently become quite trendy, and this time around it’s commonly quite dry. Since the pigment in red wines comes from keeping fermenting juice in contact with the grape skins for an extended period, it follows that a pink wine can be made using just a brief period of skin contact—usually just a couple of days. The resulting color depends on grape variety and winemaking style, ranging from pale salmon to deep magenta.
