The 2000 Carneros Merlot has black fruit (as
in blackberry pie and black cherries), rich cola berry, cassis, currant, toffee and a touch of green olive on the finish. This Merlot's luscious fruit and soft tannins will pair well with creamy cheeses, most pastas, poultry, and game. Ready to be enjoyed upon release, this wine will continue to improve with bottle age for
another three to five years and will drink nicely for many more.
