Distiller Notes
Port Askaig celebrates its 10th anniversary with this 10-year-old limited addition. Both ex-bourbon casks and sherry butts were selected from a distillery close to the village of Port Askaig in order to achieve a careful balance of peat, fruit, and oak. Because this whisky especially shone at a higher ABV, it was bottled at 55.85%, which also happens to be the geographical latitude of the port itself. Smoke mingles perfectly with a blend of fresh fruit, salt, and aromatic spice.
