Distiller Notes
This rum has an oaky-yet-balanced flavor with notes of cherry and candied fruit. You will find it smooth and spicy on the palate with a long, dry finish. The sweeter notes are balanced by touches of tobacco, cocoa powder and oak for a layered and enticing flavored rum. We highly recommend the Parce 8 Year Rum enjoyed on the rocks or in craft cocktails.

Walnuts and cocoa are apparent on the nose, and with each deep intake, it becomes a bit more resiny. The palate is opulent and dry and engages notes of darker chocolate, coffee bean, and grains. A touch of sweet tobacco and charred oak comes in mid-to-finish, with a hint of Bing cherry.
Parce was founded by three brothers and their friend who were quite taken with Columbia. Inspired by its beauty and the warmth and hospitality of its people, they wanted to share the time-honored tradition of celebrating quality rum with others. The brothers found the perfect master blenders in a father-and-son duo from Bogota.
Arthur and Brojen Fernandes Domencq have combined history of more than 50 years working with fine rum. The Domecq family boasts nearly three centuries of crafting traditional wine, sherry and brandy in the south of Spain. Brojen's grandfather, Jose Ignacio Domecq, was known in the industry as "La Nariz" (the nose) for his expertise in sniffing and blending. La Nariz's legacy lives on in Colombia with Brojen and Arthur's innate understanding of rum derived from pure ingredients, then carefully aged.
