This award-winning dark rum spends further time in American Oak Bourbon barrels, allowing for the complex interaction between rum and the once-used Bourbon-soaked staves. The result is an over-proofed, yet balanced expression, with a warm and layered finish.
Complex notes of vanilla, coffee beans and honey with hints of toasted almond. Full viscosity and a warm mouthfeel with almond, pecan, and dried apricot balanced with hints of bourbon and oak. Growing spice, with a smooth sweetness and everlasting length.

Seductive and clean aromas of chocolate, cola, and dark cherry are abundant on the nose of this 86-proof spirit, which comprises a blend of hand-selected rums that were solera-aged for up to 24 years. Starting and finishing with caramel apple, the palate also leans toward black-peppered molasses with roasted coffee bean and anise.
Most often aged in heavily charred barrels for a longer period compared to other styles of Rum, Dark Rums are also produced entirely from caramelized sugar or molasses. This process yields some of the strongest and sweetest flavors that the spirits world has to offer. Dark Rums can serve as an excellent base for tropical cocktails, with the added spice and caramel notes casting an exotic edge to drinks like Daquiris and Hurricanes.
