Winemaker Notes

Crimson red in color with hints of purple. Aromas of blackberry, red jubes and plums with subtle notes of blackcurrant, mocha and violets. The palate is elegantly structured with a silky texture and fruit sweetness on the midpalate with layers of red cherry, spice and subtle briar flavors, finishing with soft grainy tannins.

Delicious accompanying beef, aged Cheddar or a mushroom and spinach lasagna.

Lightweight, affordable bottling offers an open and appealing nose of plums, cherries and raspberries, strung with beads of savory spices—bay leaf, ground white pepper and a damp tree bark and vanillin quality from the oak influence. The palate is on the woody, astringent side, but nevertheless offers a grip of sappy, spicy tannins and juicy fruit. Best Buy
