Winemaker Notes

Due to this higher elevation, daytime and nighttime temperatures are cooler, producing Sauvignon Blanc with minerality, vibrant acidity and heightened aromatics. The 2017 vintage further benefits from the use of three different fermentation methods – concrete “egg”, stainless steel and barrel fermentation in neutral French oak – creating layered complexity, richness and depth of flavor and finish.

Capable of a vast array of styles, Sauvignon Blanc is a crisp, refreshing variety that equally reflects both terroir and varietal character.
