Georg Rumpf’s 2020 Im Pitterberg GG is deep, intense, precise and fresh on the nose that indicates ripe and concentrated fruit. Juicy, piquant and salty on the palate, this is an intense and pretty complex dry, old-vines Riesling from a steep slate vineyard in Münster-Sarmsheim. This full-bodied and dense Pitterberg is made to be aged for many years. The finish is tight and salty and reveals a true cru character.

A regal variety of incredible purity and precision, this versatile grape can be just as enjoyable dry or sweet, young or old, still or sparkling and can age longer than nearly any other white variety.
