Distiller Notes
Four Pillars Rare Dry Gin is Four Pillars' original gin with great citrus and spice. Australian citrus is highly aromatic, and the bright fresh oranges sit above a big base of piney juniper, supporting the spicier botanicals. Their use of whole, organic Australian oranges in distillation is unusual and gives this gin a great citrus punch. There is great spice thanks to the use of traditional and Australian botanicals. The cassia and star anise add rich fruitcake tones, the Tasmanian pepperberry leaf provides warmth rather than heat, and the lemon myrtle is a beautiful alternative to lemon peel.

Warm with orange and spice notes, this gin is earthy and woodsy, finishing with a hint of bitter orange peel. Mix this mouthwatering gin made in Australia's Yarra Valley into Negronis and other bold-flavored cocktails.
Enjoying an enthusiastic resurgence in modern cocktail culture, Gin, a.k.a. ‘Dutch Courage,’ was originally touted as a 16th century cure for cowardice and stomach ailments. Arguably the broadest and most dynamic category of spirits in terms of flavor profiles and production styles, Gin is a distilled grain spirit that derives its primary flavor from juniper berries and secondary flavors from a dazzling array of spices, herbs, fruits and botanicals. It is both produced and enjoyed all around the world and is most commonly mixed into cocktails such as the Martini or simply added to tonic water.
