Enkidu Humbaba Rhone Blend 2013 Front Label
Enkidu Humbaba Rhone Blend 2013 Front Label

Winemaker Notes

The Humbaba shows its typical sweet root earthiness as in other vintages, which combine with candied cherries, toast and a little meatiness. While the texture is warm and luxurious, there is a nicebackbone grip of tannin to hang the flavors on to a long finish. This Humbaba, like their previous vintages, continues to develop considerable complexity as it ages.

Try porcini mushroom andpancetta pizza, with asiago cheese.

Bordered by Napa and Sonoma Valleys to the north and the Golden gate Bridge to the south, most of the region’s vineyards are planted on Marin County’s western side where they are exposed to the moist and cold air of the Pacific Ocean. Varieties like Pinot noir and Chardonnay do well here.
