Distiller Notes
ElVelo Tequila Blanco showcases aromas of fresh cut grass, cinnamon and ripe cherries. On the palate, layers of stone fruits, cooked agave, spearmint and limestone lead to a clean and dry finish.

First produced in the 16th century when Spanish conquistadors ran short of Brandy on their expedition to the New World, Tequila is made by distilling the juice from the heart of the blue agave plant that grows in Jalisco, Mexico. Tequilas can range from clear and unaged, known as Blanco, to darker, barrel-aged Reposado, Anejo and Extra Anejo. Popularized as the essential ingredient to the refreshing Margarita, it is also commonly enjoyed neat or with a side of lime and salt.
