Distiller Notes
BroVo's Boomerang is a complex cherry liqueur, rich and thick, and with lots of flavor.
Combining cherry, apricot, walnut, cinnamon, orange, vanilla and peppercorn, it is then sweetened to 15% sugar with 30% ABV. BroVo starts with their Amaro base, a distillate that combines NGS with rhubarb and is then aged in used whiskey barrels. They transfer this base to tanks, where they next infuse dried cherry, apricot, walnut, orange, and vanilla into the base. BroVo balances the base, then add cinnamon, peppercorn, and cayenne to finish. It is mixed with agave nectar and rests racks.

First prepared by 13th century Italian monks as herbal medicines and elixirs, Liqueurs are distilled spirits that have been combined with flavoring agents. A range of herbs, spices, nuts, fruits and flowers can be used, and a sweetener such as sugar or corn syrup is often added. While typically rather sweet, some examples are herbaceous or tart and pair exceptionally well with desserts or act as a delightful addition to cocktails.
