On the palate it displays an elegant personality with ample spicy fruit, nice structure, and a silky finish with notes of vanilla and cinnamon. Its great integration of fruit, oak and acidity make this Crianza a perfect pairing for nearly any dish.

Dark, amber-rimmed red. Aromas of red currant, cherry pit and succulent herbs, along with subtle vanilla and herb nuances. Juicy and focused on the palate, offering lively red currant and bitter cherry flavors that flesh out and turn sweeter on the back half. In an energetic style, showing firm cut, a hint of orange zest and smooth tannin's on the clinging finish.

Rioja wines are typically a blend of fruit from its three sub-regions: Rioja Alta, Rioja Alavesa and Rioja Oriental, although specific sub-region (zonas), village (municipios) and vineyard (viñedo singular) wines can now be labeled. Rioja Alta and Alavesa, at the highest elevations, are considered to be the source of the brightest, most elegant fruit, while grapes from the warmer and drier, Rioja Oriental, produce wines with deep color, great body and richness.
