The 2019 Sauvignon Blanc is a lovely balanced and structured wine that delivers wonderful aromas of fresh tropical ?avors with lots of guava, gooseberry and lemon grass. The mouthfeel is rich and layered with great crisp acidity and a vibrant long lingering ?nish.

This excellent wine is bright and fresh, gently acidic and showing citrus and fresh herb flavors. It's medium bodied, clean and refreshing, just what most Sauvignon is supposed to be.
Capable of a vast array of styles, Sauvignon Blanc is a crisp, refreshing variety that equally reflects both terroir and varietal character. Though it can vary depending on where it is grown, a couple of commonalities always exist—namely, zesty acidity and intense aromatics. This variety is of French provenance. Somm Secret—Along with Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon Blanc is a proud parent of Cabernet Sauvignon. That green bell pepper aroma that all three varieties share is no coincidence—it comes from a high concentration of pyrazines (herbaceous aromatic compounds) inherent to each member of the family.
Located within the greater Clear Lake appellation, the Red Hills AVA is perhaps the hottest spot right now in Lake County for new Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards. Recognizing the potential of its volcanic and obsidian heavy soils, many respected growers are flocking to the area. Andy Beckstoffer, a leader in escalating the quality and recognition of Napa Valley, has already invested heavily in the area.
