Intense ruby red in color tending to garnet. Elegant and intense bouquet. On the palate, dry, warm, robust and persistent. Excellent with game, roasted red meat, and aged cheese. Wine to lay down.

Profound aromas of blueberry, sweet tobacco, wet earth, cedar and oyster shell follow through to full body with silky tannins and a dusty finish. A savory, beautiful wine with lots of character and depth. Better in 2017.
