RP 99
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
One of my favorite Aubert offerings that typically has a Montrachet-like character emerges from the Reuling Vineyard. Made from a suitcase clone from Burgundy’s most famous vineyard, it is an extraordinary effort. Readers looking for staggering levels of minerality and depth of flavor should check out this Chardonnay. The 2008 Chardonnay Reuling Vineyard offers aromas of crushed rocks, damp soil, honeysuckle, brioche, lemon oil, orange marmalade and buttered citrus. This compelling Chardonnay is full-bodied with great intensity, good acidity and stunning perfume as well as length.
WS 97
Wine Spectator
Rich and full-bodied, with ripe layers of fig, apricot and melon shaded by toasty, smoky roasted marshmallow flavors that are intense, vibrant and lively with acidity. Long and persistent on the finish.

Aubert The Passion of Elegant Farming Winery Image

Mark Aubert’s Sonoma Coast vineyard-designate Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs have risen in popularity at a dizzying speed. Aubert’s career in winemaking began in 1989 at Peter Michael under the tutelage of Helen Turley, which led to his time at Colgin, Sloan, Futo and then Bryant Family, before founding Aubert Wines with his wife Teresa in 1999. His wines express the essence of singular terroirs with an effortless grace. Mark crafts the wines of Aubert to speak to a variety of wine lovers with one thing in common – selective palates that expect nothing but the best.
