Arran 14 Year Single Malt Scotch Whisky Front Bottle Shot
Arran 14 Year Single Malt Scotch Whisky Front Bottle Shot Arran 14 Year Single Malt Scotch Whisky Front Label

Distiller Notes

It is a perfectly balanced marriage of both first fill Sherry and Bourbon casks and is a highly rewarding Single Malt with depth of character and zest. It captures perfectly all the fresh character of the Arran 10 year-old with an added layer of intensity and fruitiness.

A sunset copper color. Dried fruits, vanilla and toffee aromas up front. With a little water a salty tang appears, with caramelised fruits indicating a depth of flavor to come. On the palate, sweetness, spice, bitter orange, charred oak, honey, apple, and pears.

“A good gulp of hot Scotch Whisky at bedtime–it’s not very scientific, but it helps!”

Alexander Fleming, Scottish inventor of penicillin, prescribed it as a cure for the common cold. Today Single Malt Scotch Whiskies are prized by enthusiasts and aficionados the world over for their rarity, age and complexity. By definition these must be produced in Scotland from a single distillery and made entirely from malted barley, using a pot still. The appearance, aroma and flavor of a Single Malt Scotch Whisky can vary widely depending on whether it was produced in the Highlands, Lowlands Islands, Speyside, Islay or Campbelltown regions.
