Winemaker Notes
Aromas of delicate white peach, hibiscus, lemongrass with flavors of sweet Meyer lemon, fresh peach, pineapple, rain on river rocks on the palate. Bright, clean & crisp, hint of minerality, beautiful acidity.
Enjoy with seafood on the grill, grilled asparagus, summer salads.

Supple and expressive, with Meyer lemon, beeswax and dried hay accents that linger on a plush, crisp finish. Drink now.

Starting out a touch reductive, the 2017 Semillon opens up nicely with time in the glass and shows plenty of honeyed citrus, sappy flowers, and hints of chamomile tea in its medium-bodied, juicy, and vibrant profile. Made from 85% Semillon and 15% Sauvignon, drink it over the coming 2-4 years.

Amavi Cellars signifies love (amor) and life (vita) through its wines, which are 100% estate, 100% certified sustainable, and 100% Walla Walla Valley. Winemaker Jean-François Pellet brings the Walla Walla Valley AVA to life with his hand crafted, terroir-driven wines. Made from the estate’s younger vines and utilizing more neutral oak, Amavi’s elegant wines are ready to drink upon release, but will also age gracefully in serious collectors’ cellars. Amavi Cellars is owned and operated by three families: the McKibbens, the Goffs and the Pellets, who are dedicated to building their dynamic brand.
