Lifted aromas of white flowers, grapefruit and musk. Intense flavors of lime and orange with a sherbet-like acidity giving freshness and length to the palate.
Estate grown Riesling (predominantly a Geisenheim clone planted 2000) from gravelly loam soils. Harvested at 2am, crushed then pressed while chilled to preserve the delicate Riesling flavors. Free run juice is fermented in stainless steel and held off from malolactic fermentation. Sterile filtration, minimal sulfur addition. 2.5g/L residual sugar.

A regal variety of incredible purity and precision, this versatile grape can be just as enjoyable dry or sweet, young or old, still or sparkling and can age longer than nearly any other white variety. Somm Secret—Given how difficult it is to discern the level of sweetness in a Riesling from the label, here are some clues to find the dry ones. First, look for the world “trocken.” (“Halbtrocken” or “feinherb” mean off-dry.) Also a higher abv usually indicates a drier Riesling.
