The expressive, aromatic and subtle 2016 Alamos Red Blend is a blend of 50% Malbec, 30% Bonarda, 15% Syrah and 5% Tempranillo and feels very harmonious and elegant. Very balanced, with incipient complexity and a round and juicy palate, it is extremely impressive.
Red plums, red cherries and red licorice with hints of cedar and spices. Medium0to-full body, soft tannins and a fruity, easy finish. Malbec, bonarda and cabernet blend.

Alamos Head Winemaker Lucía Vaieretti grew up in Mendoza’s high desert vineyards. Her family has tended vines there for more than 40 years, and she has developed a deep bond with this distinct place. When Lucía was young, she worked the vineyards with her family. “Even then,” Lucía says, “I knew we were in a special place.”
