Winemaker Notes
Scheurebe is a cross of Riesling and Silvaner and is not widely planted in Germany and is therefore rare. This 100% biodynamic, bone dry Scheurebe explodes with tropical fruit and spice aromas: pineapple, mango, papaya, kiwi, cinnamon, allspice, and nutmeg.
Crisp and focused on the palate, long dry finish. Think schnitzel, bratwurst or a Virginia baked ham for pairings.
There are hundreds of white grape varieties grown throughout the world. Some are indigenous specialties capable of producing excellent single varietal wines. Each has its own distinct viticultural characteristics, as well as aroma and flavor profiles.
