Winemaker Notes

A floral aromatic wine with lifted cherries and blueberries. Lovely smoky vanillin hints from delicate use of French oak. Bright fruit rich mid-palate, with a soft and juicy finish that is supple and leaves you wanting more.

A vibrant cherry juice color, there's a lovely brightness to the red berry and blood plum aromas. They're backed by a soft toasted clove and floral note. The palate is silky and round but with enough acidity and sandy tannin structure to keep its shape.

Known for opulent red wines with intense power and concentration, McLaren Vale is home to perhaps the most “classic” style of Australian Shiraz. Vinified on its own or in Rhône Blends, these hot-climate wines are deeply colored and high in extract with signature hints of dark chocolate and licorice. Cabernet Sauvignon is also produced in a similar style.

Whites, often made from Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc tend to be opulent and full of tropical, stone and citrus fruit.
