The 2019 Saumur Champigny La Marginale is wonderfully fragrant, pure and fruity on the nose that displays intense and perfectly ripe red fruit and black berry aromas intertwined with floral notes. Round and lush on the palate, with lots of charm and a still yeasty texture, this is a pure and elegant, fresh and structured Cabernet Franc that is lean and seductively charming. Tasted in June 2021. Rating : 91+

Inside the Saumur region, Saumur-Champigny creates some of the Loire’s greatest Cabernet Francs.
