The Busker Single Grain Irish Whiskey Front Bottle Shot
The Busker Single Grain Irish Whiskey Front Bottle Shot

Distiller Notes

The secret to this Single Grain is in choosing the highest quality spirits and maturing them in hand selected Bourbon casks from USA and rare Marsala cask from one of the oldest Sicilian wineries – Cantine Florio 1833. The Busker Single Grain is a light, pale straw colored whiskey. The taste begins by offering sweet caramel and moving to soft vanilla and oak notes. On the palate you will experience notes of caramel, vanilla, oak and hay. The finish is a long, dry and sweet.

Professional Ratings

  • 94 Tasting Panel
Matured and finished in bourbon and Marsala casks, this 88.6-proof expression is perfumed with subtle aromas of vanilla musk and pecan. The palate is a satin-laced garment of burnt orange peel, caramel, and Brazil nut; in the creamy yet refined mouthfeel, minerality meets tangerine, oregano, cumin, and black olive.

This light, pleasant sipper offers fresh pear aromas and a bright palate that mingles honey, smoke and coconut, plus an echo of orchard fruit. Cinnamon bark warms the finish.

The result of an historically prohibitive tax placed on malted barley by the English crown, Irish Whiskey is most often produced from a combination of un-malted barley and other grains. Whereas most other Whiskeys are twice distilled, Irish Whiskeys are distilled three times in a column still and must mature in oak barrels for a minimum of three years. These intricate production steps combine to make them lighter, smoother and more approachable than other styles.
