Distiller Notes
There is an underlying sweet fruitiness on the nose; oranges and pink grapefruit are masked by waves of earthy peat smoke. There's coke too, like ash from a blacksmith's forge. The smoke is mellow, and it's sweet toffee and licorice that lead followed by an oily maritime feel with a salty tang. The finish is oily with salty licorice, and a sweet smoke that lingers, and lingers, and lingers... did they mention it lingers?
