James Suckling
Bright pale-gold hue, with a fresh-toned nose, showing blanched almond, grapefruit citrus, sage and a stony undertone. This is quite fresh and elegant on the palate, with good zest to the citrus fruit and a subtle bite at the end.

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The skin-contact white 2021 Brisat was produced exclusively with Garnacha Blanca (no more Macabeo) from organically farmed vineyards. It fermented in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts and was bottled unoaked after six months in vat. They want to preserve the freshness and the primary aromas, and this is light, with 11.5% alcohol. The wine is fresh and fruit driven, with very good freshness, very clean and with some varietal character.
Producing full-bodied white wines, Grenache Blanc can be unctuous and soft or floral and fresh. Some of the finest examples are terroir-driven, age-worthy wines. It is a key ingredient in white Châteauneuf-du-Pape and many white blends across southern France and NE Spain. Somm Secret—Grenache Blanc plays a key role in the vins doux naturels of Rivesaltes and a subsidiary role in those of Banyuls and Maury.
