Tanqueray London Dry Gin
Fortune favors the brave. Back in the 1830's Charles Tanqueray wasn't afraid to mix his bold ideas. His ingenious pursuit of perfection paid off, creating Tanqueray London Dry, a perfectly balanced gin and one of the most awarded gins in the world.
The bartender's choice for the perfect G&T. Best enjoyed with tonic and a wedge of lime.
Clear. Pungent, aggressive citrus and juniper aromas. Very flavorsome with tart cut snappy spice and alcohol heat on the finish. Very persistent.
The current family of quality Tanqueray products includes original Tanqueray London Dry Gin, Tanqueray Sterling Vodka, Tanqueray Malacca Gin, and the newly introduced Tanqueray N.o TEN premium gin. Today, Tanqueray London Dry is the number one selling imported gin in the United States.
Produced only in accordance with strict purity standards formulated by an 18th century European Parliament that guaranteed the absence of toxic distillation byproducts, the phrase “London Dry” on a bottle doesn't refer to any specific place of origin, age or ingredients. To be called a London Dry Gin, the base spirit must be distilled in a column still to at minimum, 70% abv. Natural botanicals can be added to the resulting neutral spirit only through re-distillation. Anything added after distillation other than water and a tiny amount of sugar disqualifies a Gin from the title, London Dry.
