Rum-Bar White Overproof is a blend of three of the distillery's unaged rums and is distilled in a 100% copper pot still built in Scotland. The flagship rum of the Rum-Bar range, this is a true taste of Jamaica. In accordance with the Jamaican Rum Standard, no additives are used in the blending of this rum. White Overproof is Rum-Bar's signature expression and the benchmark of Jamaican rum producers.
White Overproof has a crystalline appearance. Aromas of freshly cut sweetness of sugar cane. Light grass, exotic fruits papaya and a little passionfruit, some fermented pineapple. On the palate, ripened bananas, exotic fruits like papaya and passionfruit. Hints of vegetal notes.

From pirate life on the open sea to Caribbean island paradises, perhaps no other spirit evokes such a romantic history as Rum. Made through fermentation and distillation of molasses or the fresh-pressed juice of sugar cane, Rums range from 20% to over 70% alcohol and come in a variety of tones from clear to dark. Highest quality Rums are generally produced in pot stills and aged in wood, while less expensive Clear or “White” Rums are produced in column stills and bottled without barrel aging. Naturally, Rums form the base of tropical cocktails like Daquiris and Mojitos.
