2021 San Francisco World Spirits Competition Gold Medal Winner
Medium body with a natural dark reddish color due to a long aging period of up to 10 years. Aromas of almonds, vanilla, raisins, plums, and bananas with a strong woody backbone. Very smooth and natural fruity sweetness with a lingering smoky finish.
A perfect blend of rums aged between 6 and 10 years in oak barrels that previously held Oloroso sherry. It’s a wonderful sipping rum, best enjoyed neat or with a splash of coconut water over ice… a favorite in San Juan!

Often referred to as a Gold Rum, an Aged Rum is one that has been aged in barrels, often Ex-Bourbon or White Oak before bottling. As the Rum continues to age, it draws more and more color and flavor from the wood, adding both body and complexity to the finished product. Aged Rums can be sipped neat or added to cocktails. They fall somewhere in between White and Dark Rums in terms of their respective strength of flavor.
