The 2020 Geremia, a blend of 70% Merlot and the rest Cabernet Sauvignon, was aged in barrique and tonneaux and pours a saturated red hue. Highly expressive with aromas of Amarena cherry, currant, menthol, juniper, eucalyptus, rocky earth, and wildflowers, it’s full-bodied and offers layered depth along with vibrant acidity and broad and sustained length on the palate. This is a powerful yet refined wine with excellent aging potential. Drink 2026-2046.

The 2020 Geremia may very well be the best vintage ever for Marco Ricasoli's Merlot/Cabernet Sauvignon blend. Plush, silky contours wrap around a core of black fruit, espresso, licorice, menthol and lavender. A wine of exceptional balance, the 2020 is impressive, even in the very early going. I can't wait to see how it ages. This is truly exceptional.
