The palate begins with dark berry fruit and earthy tobacco leaf characters which are layered over cedar spice and leathery tones. You can take this one to the bank, this is clearly varietal, the 2012 Pillar Box Cabernet Sauvignon shows up with bright, red currants, excellent density; and a zesty finish. Staying focused where it has to be, the is such a fine, drinking red. One of the world's best party wines when the guests are into the food as much as the wine. (Best Served: 2014-2017)
