Aromas of golden apples, pears, butterscotch, hazelnuts and lemon cream. On the palate, flavors of candied citrus, caramel and green apples. A stylized yet polished wine. Medium-bodied.

Robust aromas of dusty cherry, cocoa powder and caramel jump out on the nose of this Pinot. The palate brings a wave of sour cherry, spiced berry compote and rose petal flavors with rich barrel spice and tea notes lingering on the finish.

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
Matured in 28% new French oak, the 2022 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast has inviting aromas of cranberry, red cherry, charcuterie, mossy bark and potpourri. The full-bodied palate features earth-laced flavors and glossy oak spice. It has silky tannins, bright acidity and a long, spicy finish.

Sleek and fresh, with a pinpoint feel to its bitter cherry, red tea and light sous-bois details.
The Sonoma Coast AVA is large in area but, not counting overlapping regions like Russian River Valley, only has a few thousand acres of grapevines—and it’s no wonder. Much of the region is rugged and not easily accessible. Its proximity to the Pacific Ocean’s fog and cool breezes limits the varieties that can be cultivated, but it proves to be an ideal environment for high quality Pinot Noir.
Since fog is a frequent fact of life here, as are heavy marine layers that sometimes bring rain, the best vineyards are wisely planted above the fog line, on picturesque ridges that capture enough sun to provide even ripening. That, with the overnight drop in temperature that reliably preserves acidity, results in fine expressions of Pinot Noir that often receive tremendous critic and consumer praise alike, and are often in high demand.
