Distiller Notes
Partida’s unrivaled smoothness and character have made it the world’s highest rated tequila, declared by the Spirits Journal “simply the finest line of tequilas that money can buy.” Aromas of sunbaked earth and exotic dried fruits with supple notes of buttercream open to flavors of cinnamon, banana, cafe con leche, and baking chocolate. Partida Añejo is an exquisite sipping tequila with a rich barrel spice and sweetness that opens up intriguing possibilities in classic stirred cocktails.

Mild butterscotch sweetness is framed by gentle smoke and spice. Muted hints of charred chile pepper and burnt lemon peel lead into a drying, almond-tinged finish.
Because of their great complexity, Anejo Tequilas are most often used as a substitute for Brandy or Whiskey in cocktails like the Manhattan or Old Fashioned. Anejo Tequilas must be aged in oak barrels for between one and three years, while Extra Anejo refers to any Tequila aged longer than three years. The prolonged contact with the oak barrel allows the wood to make a much stronger impression on the Tequila by adding toffee, caramel and vanilla to the sweet, spicy agave flavor profile.
