Pallini Limoncello Liqueur
The Pallini family has been making super premium liqueurs since 1875 when Nicola Pallini founded their first shop and distillery in Antrodoco. In 1922, the business was moved to the heart of Rome, where it built a strong reputation for exquisitely made spirits. In present day, another generation of Pallini is dedicated as ever to preserving the family tradition by bringing the freshest possible flavors to their products with a combination of high quality and just-picked ingredients, state of the art processes and precise attention to detail.
First prepared by 13th century Italian monks as herbal medicines and elixirs, Liqueurs are distilled spirits that have been combined with flavoring agents. A range of herbs, spices, nuts, fruits and flowers can be used, and a sweetener such as sugar or corn syrup is often added. While typically rather sweet, some examples are herbaceous or tart and pair exceptionally well with desserts or act as a delightful addition to cocktails.
