The 2024 Chardonnay Oakville is bright, crisp and refreshing. Citrus peel, white flowers, chalk and white pepper give the 2024 tons of aromatic brightness and plenty of high tones. This is an especially nervy edition of O'Shaughnessy's Chardonnay. The 2024 was aged in 55% French oak, 40% concrete and 15% stainless steel drums.

Medium gold-hued, the 2023 Chardonnay offers an outstanding nose of riper stone fruits, caramelized citrus, brioche, and honeyed floral notes. Aged 10 months on lees, it's medium-bodied and nicely concentrated on the palate, with good acidity, integrated oak, and a good finish.

Somm Secret—The Burgundian subregion of Chablis, while typically using older oak barrels, produces a bright style similar to the unoaked style. Anyone who doesn't like oaky Chardonnay would likely enjoy Chablis.
