Winemaker Notes
Deep, complex aromatics are accented by dark cherry and a touch of cranberry. Barrel aging lends subtle smoky notes and hints of baking spice to the flavor. The mouth-feel is rich and concentrated from the low yields and warm climate of the Rogue Valley. The wine has great depth yet is very balanced and finishes with a delicate texture.
Pairs great with pizza.

COMMENTARY: The 2018 Omen Pinot Noir shows that southern Oregon can be an excellent place for this finicky grape. TASTING NOTES: This wine is bright, honest, and balanced. Its true-to-type aromas and flavors of dried earth, red fruit, and rustic earth should pair nicely with a slow-roasted leg of lamb. (Tasted: February 12, 2020, San Francisco, CA)
