Winemaker Notes

50% Sangiovese, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot Jaunty with all of the strong character of the Maremma. The nose is strong with fresh luscious red fruit and pleasant strokes of aromatic herbs. In the mouth all of the freshness and vitality of the wine is confirmed. Precise, well designed, a very drinkable hit which is never dull.

V 91
Vinous
The 2019 Manolibera is laced with crushed red berry fruit, spice, mint, sweet pipe tobacco and orange peel. This effusive mid-weight red is a real charmer. I especially like the feeling of transparency here.

Muralia, Italy
Azienda Agricola Muralia is located in the south of Tuscany, called Maremma, a magic land where the time passes slowly and only the sounds of nature break the silence, the air is clear and the sunsets unforgettable. Stefano and Chiaradonata Casali moved to Maremma from Milano in 1997 where they started to cultivate the vineyards. The Muralia estate stretches over 14 hectares, and the vines are cultivated with a great respect for the land in which grow and the surroundings environment. The guiding philosophy of the Company is to produce a unique wine minimizing chemical treatments. The cellar , built into the hill, is an ideal place for the production of the wines. The particular architectural form and the partial burial guarantee temperature and humidity favorable for a good aging wine. The technology of the cellar and the natural elements of the underground work together to create the ideal conditions for wines storage.

Legendary in Italy for its Renaissance art and striking landscape, Tuscany is also home to many of the country’s best red wines. Sangiovese reigns supreme here, as either the single varietal, or a dominant player, in almost all of Tuscany’s best.

A remarkable Chianti, named for its region of origin, will have a bright acidity, supple tannins and plenty of cherry fruit character. From the hills and valleys surrounding the medieval village of Montalcino, come the distinguished and age-worthy wines based on Brunello (Sangiovese). Earning global acclaim since the 1970s, the Tuscan Blends are composed solely of international grape varieties or a mix of international and Sangiovese. The wine called Vine Nobile di Montepulciano, composed of Prognolo Gentile (Sangiovese) and is recognized both for finesse and power.
