Lobos 1707 Tequila, Extra Añejo is the alpha Tequila – over four hundred years of refinement that harkens back to 1707. Born of 100% pure Blue Weber agave Tequila, it is aged to perfection for three years in American white oak and finished in historic PX wine barrels using the solera method, permitting the Tequila time to evolve into its most lasting, flavorful experience. Superbly unorthodox.
Deeply expressive and perfectly aromatic. Fragrant of rich agave, with sherry, citrus and tobacco tones. It transcends from citrus to oak and sherry, with a hint of molasses.
It is best served neat or on the rocks. Savored with your pack, otherwise commanding of your full attention.
First produced in the 16th century when Spanish conquistadors ran short of Brandy on their expedition to the New World, Tequila is made by distilling the juice from the heart of the blue agave plant that grows in Jalisco, Mexico. Tequilas can range from clear and unaged, known as Blanco, to darker, barrel-aged Reposado, Anejo and Extra Anejo. Popularized as the essential ingredient to the refreshing Margarita, it is also commonly enjoyed neat or with a side of lime and salt.
