El Sabino is located near Teuchitlan, the home of the Guachimontones, a UNESCO world heritage site - the circular pyramids featured in the logofor Lagrimas del Valle. This particular ranch having exceedingly high quality agaves. El Sabino Plata showcases aromas of fresh mint, lemontea, eucalyptus and citrus, and on the palate - minerality, cooked agave, oregano and fresh herbs, with a buttery mouthfeel.
First produced in the 16th century when Spanish conquistadors ran short of Brandy on their expedition to the New World, Tequila is made by distilling the juice from the heart of the blue agave plant that grows in Jalisco, Mexico. Tequilas can range from clear and unaged, known as Blanco, to darker, barrel-aged Reposado, Anejo and Extra Anejo. Popularized as the essential ingredient to the refreshing Margarita, it is also commonly enjoyed neat or with a side of lime and salt.
