This Cabernet Sauvignon is a soft, smooth wine with well-integrated oak. Flavors of dark fruit like blackberry are met with earthy notes such as tobacco, toast and tea in the mid-palate. Layers of rich notes of spice, clove and pepper from the Petite Sirah complete the wine.

Rich with aromas of dark chocolate, slate, cedar, and coffee, this youthful Cab is sassy and light on its feet, with notes of spiced blueberries and round, mocha-kissed tannins. Rhubarb and fennel come in mid-palate and stay to the finish.

Lake County in California’s North Coast has become a focus for some of Napa’s more respected growers. From the Central Coast come iconic examples of classic California Cabernet; Lodi and the Sierra Foothills are great budget-friendly sources of amicable Cabernets.
