Distiller Notes
This old rhum is a blend of three to four year-old rhums mainly aged in American bourbon barrels, sourced from the states of Kentucky and Missouri.
The nose offers generous vanilla aromas which are enhanced by honey nuances delicately coated by very elegant woody notes. The delightfully round and sweet first impression in the mouth makes way for an explosion of fruity flavors.
A rhum to be enjoyed neat or on the rocks for a moment of pure indulgence.

This rhum, aged for three to four years in ex-Bourbon barrels, was engineered to drink like American whiskey. The end result is a bright topaz hue and mild vanilla bean aroma, with a pleasing flavor profile that frames espresso, campfire smoke and caramel. The slightly drying exit shows clove, black pepper and a hint of orange peel.

Often referred to as a Gold Rum, an Aged Rum is one that has been aged in barrels, often Ex-Bourbon or White Oak before bottling. As the Rum continues to age, it draws more and more color and flavor from the wood, adding both body and complexity to the finished product. Aged Rums can be sipped neat or added to cocktails. They fall somewhere in between White and Dark Rums in terms of their respective strength of flavor.
