Medium-high depth wine, ruby red color with roof tile rim, which denotes its long barrel ageing and its peaceful bottle ageing.
Powerful on the nose with primary aromas of ripe fruit accompanied by complex spicy and balsamic notes and a slight touch of vanilla.
Balanced on the palate, it is a round and unctuous wine with ripe and sweet tannins, providing the wine with a long aftertaste: an elegant Rioja classic.

Very little development in this Reserva Rioja, which still shows primary-fruit character of plums and strawberries on the nose, together with hints of spice and dried orange peel. Medium body with fresh red berries and plums, rounded by silky but fresh tannins.

Hacienda López de Haro is the Rioja winery of the Vintae Wine Company and its flagship is the collection of wines with which they pay homage to the authentic essence of their land, Rioja. The place chosen to bring this project to life and to settle the winery could be none other than San Vicente de la Sonsierra, the heart of La Rioja Alta and the area where the best old Tempranillo vineyards are located, thanks to its special climatic characteristics, its orography and its soils.

Hailed as the star red variety in Spain’s most celebrated wine region, Tempranillo from Rioja, or simply labeled, “Rioja,” produces elegant wines with complex notes of red and black fruit, crushed rock, leather, toast and tobacco, whose best examples are fully capable of decades of improvement in the cellar.
Rioja wines are typically a blend of fruit from its three sub-regions: Rioja Alta, Rioja Alavesa and Rioja Oriental, although specific sub-region (zonas), village (municipios) and vineyard (viñedo singular) wines can now be labeled. Rioja Alta and Alavesa, at the highest elevations, are considered to be the source of the brightest, most elegant fruit, while grapes from the warmer and drier, Rioja Oriental, produce wines with deep color, great body and richness.
