Winemaker Notes

The wine displays rich aromas of plum, black cherry and fresh berry, a touch of light grass, and notes of maple and browned butter. With well-balanced acidity and a smooth, silky texture, the wine features a long-lasting and pleasing finish.

WE 89
Wine Enthusiast
Inky garnet in the glass, this red blend offers aromas of cassis, raspberry and juniper berry. There is a nice mélange of fruit and herbal flavors, especially blackberry, black cherry, thyme and oregano with a hint of tobacco. Chewy tannins recede in tandem with a bright burst on the finish.
W&S 89
Wine & Spirits
This feels Mediterranean on the front end, the plummy fruit spicy and generous; then cabernet and petit verdot come in on the back end, shutting the wine down with their lean, peppery fruit and tannins. Give it some time in the cellar and it may knit together.
