Winemaker Notes

This classic, cool-climate Merlot is fruity and approachable. A combination of new and used French oak barrels were used in aging the wine. Dark red to purple color with aromas of spicy plum, kirsch, and cedar. Lipsmacking gobs of juicy fruit with hints of chocolate and anise leading to a lengthy, balanced finish.

This full-bodied wine compliments a variety of barbecued meats, braised short ribs, and strongly-seasoned chicken dishes.
