El Tequileno Reposado Gran Reserva is made from 100% Estate Agave grown in the Highlands of Jalisco. It is aged for a minimum of 8 months in American Oak and blended with a small amount of 18-month Anejo aged in American Oak. Aromas of banana, caramelized pear, nutmeg, vanilla and caramel. Light oak flavors with notes of vanilla, spicy, toffee, and macadamia nuts.
This is a perfectly balanced tequila with real character. A must for all!

Close your eyes, and you might confuse this Tequila for a light whiskey. The aroma is light and slightly sweet, with an almond-like hint. The palate shows concentrated vanilla, finishing assertive and spiced with cinnamon and clove.
Tequila Reposado refers to Tequilas that have been ‘rested’, or aged, in oak barrels for a minimum of two months but not more than one year. Depending on the specific flavors a tequilero wishes to impart on the spirit, a variety of different barrels may be used, from Brandy and Bourbon, to Wine and Sherry. The time spent on the wood allows Reposado Tequilas to mellow as they age, softening and rounding powerful flavor components brought by the agave and marrying them to subtle notes of caramel and vanilla brought by the barrel itself.
