One of several standard-bearing estates for the appellation, Chaume-Arnaud's 2020 Vinsobres is a blend of 50% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 15% each Cinsault and Mourvèdre, all aged 20 months in concrete tanks prior to bottling. Scents of violets, black cherries and resinous herbs mark the nose, while the full-bodied palate is expansive and supple, followed by a long, plush finish tinged with dark chocolate.
