    Winemaker Notes

Nose: The bouquet indicates rice varietal intensity with melons, hints of peach and tropical aromas enhanced by subtle use of oak.

    Color: Brilliant light straw color.

Palate: Made to encapsulate the varietal character of the Chardonnay grape, the wine displays great depth and character. An array of fruit salad characters with peach and cool-climate melon fruit flavors. Quite creamy and balanced acid finish.

Food Suggestions: Ideal with chicken, pasta and spicy foods.

    Serving Temperature: Serve slightly chilled.

Cellaring: Will drink well now, but does have great potential to age and develop well in bottle.

    Dalles Conte, Chile
Dallas Conté is a joint venture between Beringer Blass and the fourth-largest Chilean wine producer, Vina Santa Carolina. Santa Carolina is the leading brand of Chilean wine in Australia.

There has been a dramatic increase in Australian imports of Chilean wine. No longer is it sufficient for the wine lover to try Chilean wine - the questions are which Chilean wine brands, which varieties and which wine regions.

Santa Carolina manages 600 hectares of vineyards in the four best vineyard regions of Chile.
