Distiller Notes
A slow, cold maceration process is carried out according to tradition, resulting in a sophisticated, all-natural elixir. This complex yet well-balanced "boutique" aperitif is capable of turning any Contratto Apertif-based cocktail into an exceptional experience.
Apertif is meant to be mixed. Add soda or sparkling wine, or lemon / lime / rhubarb juice for a refreshing, low alcohol drink. Add vodka or gin and vermouth for a cocktail with a little more punch.

First prepared by 13th century Italian monks as herbal medicines and elixirs, Liqueurs are distilled spirits that have been combined with flavoring agents. A range of herbs, spices, nuts, fruits and flowers can be used, and a sweetener such as sugar or corn syrup is often added. While typically rather sweet, some examples are herbaceous or tart and pair exceptionally well with desserts or act as a delightful addition to cocktails.
