Hand selecting the best, fully-matured agave, to ensure that with each harvest, the agave’s Brix level (sugar content) meets Código 1530's high standards.The Blanco is unrested, never touching a barrel, so that the rich flavor of agave can be fully appreciated.

First produced in the 16th century when Spanish conquistadors ran short of Brandy on their expedition to the New World, Tequila is made by distilling the juice from the heart of the blue agave plant that grows in Jalisco, Mexico. Tequilas can range from clear and unaged, known as Blanco, to darker, barrel-aged Reposado, Anejo and Extra Anejo. Popularized as the essential ingredient to the refreshing Margarita, it is also commonly enjoyed neat or with a side of lime and salt.
