Distiller Notes
Created in 2004, Green Tea Vodka was the first of its kind in the vodka market. In spring, four varieties of rare, first growth, whole-leaf green teas are picked in Anhwei Province, China and delivered to the Charbay Distillery. They dry them lightly, then dedicate 120 days to extracting the true flavor from the leaves. What you'll taste is pure green tea.

Tasting Panel
Honey and lemon are soft and demure aromas, with a hint of papaya. The palate offers up an array of tropical notes, with the green tea tannins in check. With its crushed velvet texture, spiced tropical fruit, jasmine, and kaffir lime meld with sprouted herbs. Complex and exotic.
Though Vodka aspires to be an odorless and tasteless spirit on its own, this aspect (somewhat ironically) makes it the perfect base for flavored spirits, as there aren’t any other flavors or aromas to compete with those being added. While some premium producers steep their Vodkas with actual fruit, extracts and concentrates are most commonly used to achieve a desired flavor.
